I love Newberg. I’m not running because I think our city is broken. I’m running because I see how much potential we have and I’m tired of watching politics get in the way of progress.

Why I’m running:

I want us to sit down with Dundee and Dayton and find out whether working together on water could lower costs for Newberg families. Not another study that sits on a shelf. I want to know what it would take to actually lower the water bill sitting on your kitchen counter.

We have land. We have tools. We have people who want to work close to home. Let’s get employment land ready for development and then go compete for jobs that will help people in this community get ahead, rather than just getting by.

Being heard isn’t the same as being listened to. Real listening means being willing to change your mind because of what you hear. I won’t always agree with everyone—and you won’t always agree with me—but you should never walk away wondering whether your voice mattered.
